This blog is an idea that I've had for a little while. I'm going to write several letters to my grandmother. She doesn't know English and I don't know Chinese. So for this to work, I have already talked to my mother about writing this out for her to translate into Chinese for my grandmother to read.
There are multiple reasons why I am doing this. I view it as an opportunity for my grandmother to get to know me better, and for me to get to know her better. I visited my grandmother a couple of months ago and she lives with my aunt. I got a feeling that my grandmother was lonely and I wanted to help give her something to look forward to. With my mother translating these letters, she will get to know me better as well. Lastly, I have decided to put these letters into a blog to give my friends an opportunity to learn more about me.
My other blog is more of a fun blog that has no direction. This blog is deeper with a purpose.
So does this mean that your grandma is going to write a blog in Chinese, too?
